STANLEY LIVINGSTO - BIO MR. LIVINGSTON'S career began at the tender age of four when he performed with an underwater swim group called the "WATER BABIES". The Water Babies appeared on YOU ASKED FOR IT, a popular television show back in the early 1950's, and inspired articles in VOGUE and McCALLS, LIFE, LOOK magazines. MR. LIVINGSTON turned actor at age five appearing as a neighborhood kid on THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE AND HARRIET. Stan was seen as a semi-regular Neighborhood Kid on the show for four seasons, until 1960, when he began his role of "CHIP DOUGLAS" on MY THREE SONS. MR. LIVINGSTON'S career blossomed in the area of theatrical motion pictures as well. Stan has appeared in many feature films including Leo McCary's RALLY 'ROUND THE FLAG, BOYS, with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward; THE BONNIE PARKER STORY, with Dorothy Provine; PLEASE DON'T EAT THE DAISIES, with Doris Day and David Niven; X-15, with Charles Bronson and Mary Tyler Moore; HOW THE WEST WAS WON (the last Cinerama feature film ever made), with Debbie Reynolds, George Peppard, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, and Gregory Peck; PRIVATE PARTS (the Paul Bartel cult classic); HOTWIRE, with James Keach - and Roger Corman's ATTACK OF THE 60 FOOT CENTERFOLD, with Russ Tamblyn. and Tommy Kirk. MR. LIVINGSTON has also appeared in several Made for Television Movies including SARGE - THE BADGE OR THE CROSS, with George Kennedy and LUCAS TANNER, with David Hartmann and HIGH SCHOOL USA. TV Specials include THE MY THREE SONS CHRISTMAS SPECIAL, THE MY THREE SONS - PARTRIDGE FAMILY FAMILY REUNION SPECIAL, THE AMERICAN YEARBOOK, OUR TIME, THE FABULOUS 50'S, CBS - 50th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL and A&E Channel's CHILD STARS: OUR STORY. MR. LIVINGSTON is also a veteran of the Stage, having starred in such plays as SEE HOW THEY RUN, MISCHIEF, LITTLE WHITE LIES and THE NERD. BEHIND THE CAMERAStan's other activities are behind the camera. He has written, produced, directed edited numerous commercials, music videos, and PBS-type educational programming - as well as serving as 2nd Unit Director on two feature films, THE AFTERMATH and EMPIRE OF THE DARK. Stan also co-authored the screenplay for THE AFTERMATH, the film of which is now in release on DVD. Stan also wrote the Pilot episode for a TV series called LA ROCKS! (He was also one of the segment Directors). The Pilot starred Sherman Hemsley (formerly "GEORGE JEFFERSON" on THE JEFFERSONS). Stan branched out into writing for the stage. He wrote the musical DORIAN, which was produced at the Estelle Harman Theater in Los Angeles. One of the stars of the musical was Stan's real-life and television brother, Barry Livingston ("ERNIE" of My Three Sons fame). Stan also produced, "Hey, Ma... ", a major one-woman show starring New York Theater veteran, Kaye Ballard. The show was presented at the prestigious Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. A Freelance Director, Stan directed all 20 Episodes of a Children's television series, "CORY THE CLOWN" for FUNNY PRODUCTIONS at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.. FIRST TEAM PRODUCTIONS Mr. Livingston is the owner of FIRST TEAM PRODUCTIONS - a Los Angeles based Production Company. Over the years, the company has produced feature films, television pilots, episodic television segments, documentaries, commercials, PBS style programming, music and educational videos, shorts - and even a 3-Strip 35mm CINERAMA® Process Film "CHECKERS"The Company produced the Feature Film, "CHECKERS". Mr. Livingston served as the movie's Producer and Editor. The feature was shot in the Los Angeles area. "IN THE PICTURE" Stan starred in and served as a Co-Producer on the CINERAMA® production, "IN THE PICTURE". The Film was the first 3-Strip 35mm CINERAMA® process film produced using a restored original CINERAMA® Camera in over 50 years! "IN THE PICTURE" launched the ARCLIGHT Cinerama Dome's historic CINERAMA FILM FESTIVAL. THE ACTORS JOURNEY PROJECT In an effort to give back to the Entertainment Industry and the next generation of actors, Mr. Livingston founded THE ACTOR’S JOURNEY®. The purpose of this Landmark Project was to bring 100 distinguished and successful entertainment industry veterans such as actors Henry Winkler (Happy Days), Melissa Gilbert, (Little House on the Prairie), Michael York (Romeo & Juliet, Logan’s Run), Sherman Hemsley (The Jeffersons) and directors: Richard Donner (Superman, Lethal Weapon), Richard Rush (The Stuntman) - to name a few - together to create and teach a much needed program on the BUSINESS SIDE of an ACTING CAREER. THE ACTOR'S JOURNEY® offers actors an alternative to spending the first 5 to 10 years of their careers down in the trenches of the industry trying to learn the BUSINESS (or non-performance) side of their career. Over 45 of the industry veterans who appear on-screen and teach this amazing Program have been nominated – or won - Academy®, Emmy®, Golden Globe®, and other prestigious industry awards. Mr. Livingston is the Founder of The Actor’s Journey® Project and served as the Project's Producer and Director. This 10 hour-long Program now being taught in schools, universities and is available on DVD and soon, Streaming Media. Clips from THE ACTOR'S JOURNEY® can be viewed on YOUTURBE. A new website is currently under contructions as the company transitions from DVD to Streaming Media. CURRENTLY Mr Livingston completed acting chores in "ANTIQUITIES - A STAR WARS GALACTIC STARCRUISER STORY" EPISODE 5 ("THE DRIFTER"). Stan's production Company, First Team Productions, is currently developing “RACE WITH THE DRAGON” – a Feature Film based on a real-life Indiana Jones-like adventure that took place in mainland China in 1941 - on the eve of World War II. First Team is also developing a half-hour long Situation Comedy TV Pilot called "POTMELTING" as a Pilot for a potential Television Series.
